What you'll receive
Messages from Nellson Associates are strictly transactional. They relate to your account, your consulting engagement, or a verification step you specifically initiated. We don't send promotional offers or marketing campaigns over SMS.
Login & verification codes
6-digit codes sent only when you request to log in or verify your phone number. Codes expire quickly and are not reusable.
Appointment & meeting reminders
Reminders for scheduled calls, workshops, or consulting sessions you booked through the site.
Engagement status updates
Notifications about active consulting engagements — contract signatures, milestone completions, invoice availability.
Customer-service replies
Responses to questions or support requests you submit to us. We won't text you out of the blue.

Program disclosure
The consent terms you agree to when you opt in.
By checking the SMS opt-in box on our signup page or profile settings, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Nellson Associates at the mobile number you provide, including login and verification codes, appointment reminders, engagement status updates, and customer-service replies to inquiries you initiate.
Message frequency
Varies based on your activity. Typically no more than a few messages per week. Verification codes are sent only when you request them.
Message & data rates
Standard carrier rates for SMS and data may apply. Nellson Associates does not charge you to send or receive messages; your mobile carrier may.
Opt out at any time
Reply STOP to any message from us, or remove your phone number in your profile settings. You'll receive one final confirmation, then no further SMS until you re-opt-in.

No third-party sharing
Nellson Associates does not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes, and does not share phone numbers or opt-in data with affiliates for their own marketing. Phone numbers are transmitted only to our SMS delivery provider (Azure Communication Services) solely to deliver the messages you requested.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS availability may vary by carrier and region. This program supports U.S. and Canadian mobile numbers only.

Managing your phone number
You're always in control of your SMS subscription.
Opt in
- Create an account or log in.
- Open your profile settings.
- Add your mobile number and check the SMS opt-in box.
- Verify the number with the 6-digit code we send you.
Opt out
Any of these ends SMS immediately:
- Reply STOP to any SMS we send.
- Remove or un-verify your phone number in profile settings.
- Email contact@nellsonassociates.com and ask to be removed.
After opting out, you'll get one final confirmation message, then no further SMS. You can re-opt-in at any time from your profile settings or by texting START to our number.
Frequently asked questions
Will you text me marketing?
No. The SMS program is strictly transactional. You will never receive promotional offers, discounts, newsletters, or third-party ads from us over SMS.
Do you share my phone number with anyone?
The only party that receives your phone number is our SMS delivery provider (Microsoft Azure Communication Services), and only so the messages you asked for can be delivered. We do not share your number or opt-in status for marketing, promotional, or affiliate purposes. Full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
What number will I receive messages from?
Messages come from our U.S. toll-free number. All SMS from Nellson Associates begin with "Nellson Associates:" so you can identify them at a glance.
Does it cost anything to receive SMS?
Nellson Associates does not charge you to send or receive messages. However, standard carrier rates for SMS and data may apply based on your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details.
What if I'm outside the U.S. or Canada?
Our toll-free SMS program supports U.S. and Canadian mobile numbers only. If you're outside those regions, you can still use our email-based verification and notification channels — no phone number required.
I stopped getting messages. What now?
Check your profile settings to confirm your number is still added and verified. If you previously replied STOP, text START to our number or re-enable SMS in your profile. For anything else, email contact@nellsonassociates.com.
Can I use SMS without creating an account?
No. SMS is tied to your account so we can link messages to the right engagement or appointment. Creating an account is free and takes about a minute.
